Manodrum is crafted from mandola rattan – a type of rattan that grows in limited areas of Indonesia, where the outer layer is removed to reveal the inner core. Rattan is a sustainable material that regenerates after harvesting, and the subtle variations in colour and texture give each piece its unique charm.

We have strived to capture the tactile beauty of the wood and its natural grains, offering a rustic yet soft and smooth finish in this solid and strudy collection. The rich, dark brown color, accented with hints of black, evokes a sense of nostalgia, taking us back us to a time when life was simpler.

The Kayu indoor furniture program is made from 100% FSC-certified solid and recycled teak. The wood often comes from old building materials, which means there may be wooden plugs in various places, reflecting the unique history of the recycled teak.
The finish is rustic with water based stain pigment, and protected with two coats of oil, which is easy to refresh if needed. Use a soft moist cloth when cleaning.
