Karbun (charcoal) is exactly what this stool resembles - the dark, glossy beauty of a black furniture piece. The black coated suar wood has been crafted by hand into this smooth, curvy and organic design that will look great in any room as a stool, side table or night stand.
Suar wood always varies in tone, colour and pattern. Wood is a living material that expands and contracts, causing cracks and knots. We take steps during transport and in our warehouse to dry and coat suar wooden items, but it may still hold moisture deep within that can seep out over time.
Treating the product with a protective oil yearly is recommended, this will also revive the colour.
